For parents
First day in the children's group
Takeaway (essentials for the duration of attendance):
- Spare clothes. In the changing rooms, children have storage space for spare sets of clothes. Prepare children's spare sweatpants, t-shirt, tights (socks), underwear.
- Store diapers in the locker if the baby uses them (for sleeping, etc.).
- We recommend leaving a raincoat and waterproof shoes (boots) for children in the children's group.
We try to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings in the middle of nature, we go out with the children even in a slight drizzle.
First separation from the family
Each child reacts differently to the departure of a parent. Some children are happy in a new environment, others find the transition to the playgroup a little worse. To make the transition easier, you can give him a favourite toy to take with him. It brings with it a little piece of home, a sense of security. Of course, it is best if the child has been gradually getting used to the playgroup, the collective of children.
At first, show the children where their brand is, what clothes, shoes, gloves, etc. When dressing for a walk, the child will be more confident, satisfied.
For the best adaptation of the child to the environment of the children's group, it is important to acquaint us with the various habits and concerns of the child. Tell us if your child goes to the toilet or potty (it is not a problem to prepare it for your child). What he/she doesn't like, e.g. doesn't eat hard cheese, hates a jacket buttoned up to his/her neck, is afraid of dogs, big wind, etc.
Advise what he reacts positively to, what pleases him, cheers him up. Introduce us to what you think is important to know from the beginning.
