I have been working at Orangery since September 2026 as an English teacher.
Education: I have a Master of Science degree in Biology with a focus on teacher education from Finland.
Experience: I have worked as a biology and geography teacher at secondary schools in Finland, where I’m originally from, and I also had the opportunity to teach at an international school in Spain, where I taught in English. I have also worked with younger children through a science club for elementary school students and at a natural history museum, where I planned educational tours and taught children about nature and animals.
I am excited to bring my love of teaching and curiosity about the world into the kindergarten classroom. As an English teacher, I want to make language learning natural and enjoyable through play, conversation and everyday activities, while supporting the children’s curiosity and helping them grow and learn in a warm and encouraging environment.
Interests: I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s planting veggies in the garden or hiking in the mountains.
Motto: Be curious, be kind, be you
